About RV Directory USA

RV Directory USA is a free, independent directory of RV parks, campgrounds, and RV resorts across all 50 states. We exist for one reason: finding a place to park for the night should not require six apps and a membership.

Where the data comes from

Listings start from OpenStreetMap, the open map database maintained by millions of contributors, which records campgrounds and caravan sites along with their hookups, facilities, and contact details. We import every RV park and campground mapped in the United States, state by state, and refresh the import regularly.

On top of that base, park owners and campers add and correct listings. A submission for a park we already have is merged into the existing listing and marked verified; a new park goes live right away when the details check out.

How we keep listings honest

• Only confirmed amenities are shown. If our data does not say whether a park has WiFi, we say nothing rather than guess. A park missing from a filter is unknown, not necessarily lacking.
• Nearest town, clearly labeled. Most campgrounds have no street address. We list them under the closest town and say so on the page, with the exact spot on the map.
• No paid placement. Parks cannot pay to rank higher. Verified listings get a badge, nothing more.
• Thin pages stay out of search. Listings with too little real data are kept crawlable but not indexed until they are enriched.
• Reviews are moderated. Every camper review is read by a person before it is published.

What we are not

We are not a booking platform and never charge a booking fee. Every listing links to the park's own website and phone number, and you book direct. Rates, availability, and rules change constantly, so the park is always the authority.
